Saved my Life:
I recently had a heart attack from clogged arteries at age 55 with a cholesterol level of 80 after being on statin drugs for over a year! A pretty big incentive to change my lifestyle and look for other answers. Dr. Rosedale is right - cholesterol does not cause heart attacks. I started on the Rosedale Diet within two weeks of the heart attack, and I have lost 22 pounds within six months, have had no heart pain whatsoever, and feel healthier than ever with blood results that prove it. It was such a relief to find out that there were other solutions than just drugs to recover from a heart attack. It Works!:
I'm a physically, active male over the age of 50 and I had reached the point that it seemed like skipping meals was the only effective means to not gaining weight. And while I could maintain I was often hungry and it was difficult to lose weight. Since practicing the Rosedale diet over about 3 weeks and I admit probably only holding to it about 75% of the time, I have lost 5 pounds. Also, I'm not hungry and I don't feel the urge to eat sweets like I once did. The bonus to the Rosedale Diet is not just the weight loss potential but the many health gains that you'll get on the inside of your body. Eating high fat (but the right kind of fat) may be counterintuitive to what we've been bombarded with by the media but for me it works.
